As part of its efforts in digitizing the university’s yearbooks, the staff at the University of Houston Digital Library has created a video using digitized yearbook images and audio from a 45 rpm record that accompanied the 1954-55 yearbook. According to the recording, 1954-55 was “a spontaneous year, a year of hopes, fears, laughs, and tears.” Go check it out to discover what the year held for UH students — it’s a treat!
