The Texas Digital Library is set to begin upgrades to all hosted instances of the Vireo Electronic Thesis and Dissertation Management application from version 1.8 to the latest version of the Vireo code.
Students in the Graduate School of Biomedical Sciences at UT Southwestern now submit electronic theses or dissertations (ETDs) online using Vireo, the TDL’s software for submission, management, and publication of ETDs.
The Texas Digital Library has concluded deployment and testing of staging instances of Vireo 1.8 for each member institution and will begin the rollout of production instances in February, beginning with UT Austin the week of February 4th.
The Texas Digital Library has begun to roll out staging versions of Vireo 1.8, while development for a future version of Vireo continues.
The Vireo Development Team concluded active development of Vireo 1.8, a new version the Vireo Electronic Thesis and Dissertation Management System, and began deployment and testing of staging instances of the software for TDL members.
