TDL Laboratory

Experiment with new technologies...

The Texas Digital Library provides space for exploring its services and technologies through the TDL Laboratory, or TDL Labs. The services hosted here are not permanent but serve as a testbed for play and experimentation.

With TDL Labs, TDL staff and users from member institutions can test  TDL services and grow comfortable with using them. Among other things, members can use TDL Labs to:

  • Edit or add content to a sample wiki
  • View sample repositories for member schools
  • Practice submitting a document to the TDL Repository
  • Test the submission and management workflows of Vireo, the TDL’s electronic thesis and dissertation submission and management system
  • Practice using the TDL’s e-journal system, Open Journal Systems

For more information about the TDL’s live services, please visit the Services page. TDL members may also request their own Electronic Journals, Scholarly Blogs, or Research Wikis by contacting TDL staff at info@tdl.org.
