October 19 marks the beginning of Open Access week, a global celebration designed to expand awareness about the benefits of free and open access to research.
Texas Digital Library and LEARN announce strategic partnership
The Texas Digital Library and LEARN (the Lonestar Education and Research Network) have formed a strategic partnership that will support collaboration among Texas higher education institutions and scholars by enhancing access to online scholarly communication services and strengthening the preservation of digital assets.
TDL directors travel to iPRES 2009
TDL co-directors Mark McFarland and John Leggett traveled to San Francisco this week to attend the Sixth International Conference on Preservation of Digital Objects, otherwise known as iPRES 2009.
