TDL Conference System index

Online Conference Management tools from the Texas Digital Library provide a full online presence for academic conferences.

The Texas Digital Library is pleased to offer its members new tools for advancing scholarly communications at their organizations: Online Conference Management powered by Open Conference Systems software.

Using the Open Conference Systems platform, an open-source application developed by the Public Knowledge Project, TDL can host conference Web sites and provide tools for:

  • managing registration
  • handling abstract and paper submissions
  • managing the review process
  • publishing conference proceedings
  • handling annual/recurring conferences

Users of TDL’s Online Conference Management tool can create a Web presence for their conferences without installing any software. To set up a conference Web site, contact the TDL at info@tdl.org and TDL staff will be in touch to help you create and configure a conference site.

The TDL will be offering classroom training on the Open Conference Systems tool at its March 25 session at Baylor University. For more information on registering for this class, visit the TDL training page.
