Thanks to a generous joint donation from TDL members, Texas Digital Library is excited to offer the 2020 TCDL Student Scholarship. Five students will be selected and awarded registration for the TDL Leadership Academy as well as the 2020 Texas Conference on Digital Libraries. Application deadline is March 26th, 2020.
Why should you apply?
The Texas Conference on Digital Libraries will provide opportunities for professional development and networking within the digital library world. Meet librarians, catalogers, archivists, technical staff, repository managers as well as library faculty from across the state and gain insight into new technology and several topics relevant to the creation, promotion, and preservation of research, scholarship, and cultural heritage digital materials.
This year, our theme is Hindsight 2020: Looking Back, Moving Forward, and will feature keynote speakers Laura Cooper and Dr. Curtis Small of the Colored Conventions Project. The conference’s goal is to focus on lessons learned, challenges faced, and strategies moving forward for digital collections of all types.
Previous scholarship winners are eligible to apply but please note that preference will be given to first time TCDL attendees.
Will you be submitting a poster or presentation proposal? If not, you should consider it.
Special consideration will be given to students who are submitting presentations or poster proposals. Plus, it’s a great way to showcase your Capstone Project!
Requirements for application
