Alex Marden (GIS and Geospatial data Coordinator with the UT Libraries) will lead a webinar entitled, Fundamentals and Emerging Trends of GIS Data. Finding and accessing data to use in GIS software is a common task for librarians, but GIS data is highly varied and is often challenging to work with. In this webinar, we will confront those challenges by covering the fundamentals, highlighting valuable data sources and tools, and exploring emerging trends in geospatial data accessibility.
