GIS Learning Community Mini-Sprint

Texas Digital Library’s GIS Interest Group invites you to attend the GIS Learning Community Mini-Sprint, August 9-10, 2022.

Join TDL’s GIS Interest Group for a 2-day learning opportunity, offering a 90-minute morning overview session introducing curricular concepts, a “Mini Sprint” on your own in the middle of the day to review resources and complete activities, and a follow up 30-minute meeting for questions and wrap up at the end of the day. The morning session will begin at 9:00am CST and the afternoon session to begin at 4:00pm CST.

This learning opportunity is intended to enable participants to:

• Experience the benefits of co-learning with a community of like-minded colleagues
• Learn the basics of using Python
• Leverage Python to automate GIS workflows

  • Geospatial Python Packages
