OER @ TDL: Supporting Open Pedagogy Panel Discussion

November 6, 2024 @ 1:00 pm - 2:30 pm
free
On a dark teal blue background, text reads "OER @ TDL" and "Texas Digital Library." All text is white except for the @ symbol which is turquoise.

Open pedagogy is becoming increasingly prevalent in institutions of higher education as a means of engaging with students as co-creators of knowledge. Given their unique expertise in open licensing and assignment planning, librarians are well positioned to provide support for open pedagogy. In this panel discussion, we will hear from three librarians about how they collaborate with faculty members to support open pedagogy assignments at their respective institutions. They will share their favorite resources and best practices that attendees can utilize for growing open pedagogy support at your own institution.

  • OER @ TDL meetings are organized by the TDL OER Users Group and are open to anyone interested, regardless of membership in the Texas Digital Library.
  • The OER @ TDL meetings are not recorded in order to cultivate candid conversations. Presentations and resources shared during the meeting will be shared with registrants afterward.
