Texas Digital Library’s Pre-GIS Day 2025

The Texas Digital Library (TDL) GIS Interest Group is thrilled to invite you to participate in our annual Pre-GIS Day Celebration on Wednesday, November 12, 2025, from 3:00-4:30 pm! (Annually held 1 week prior to the official GIS Day.)

Call for Proposals

We are accepting proposals from any aspect of GIS and/or mapping and no idea is too small or too large. Working on a mapping project or recently completed a project? Or, perhaps your library acquired a new mapping-related resource? Or, perhaps you are learning GIS and want to share what you’ve learned? This is the perfect opportunity to share amongst friends.

In the spirit of fun and exploration, TDL’s Pre-GIS Day celebration will be cat-themed. So, opt for the presentation style that is just right for you:

• Kitten Cuteness – Poster/Short Presentation: 5 minutes
• Mama Cat – Long Presentation: 10 minutes
• Cat Attack – PechaKucha: 20 slides X 20 seconds
• Other (Suggestions Welcome)
