Membership in the Texas Digital Library (TDL) is available to any institution of higher education in the state of Texas. Two levels of membership are available to new institutions. A third membership level was reserved for TDL founding institutions and is no longer available.

Affiliate Membership

• Available to institutions of higher learning in Texas
• $25,000 annual commitment
• Access to all TDL institutional and faculty services

Associate Membership

• Available to institutions of higher learning in Texas
• $50,000 annual commitment
• Funding commitment for one local full-time employee (40 hrs/wk), to be managed by TDL directors

Founder Membership

• Reserved for founding institutions
• $100,000 annual commitment
• Funding commitment for two local full-time employees (40 hrs/wk), to be managed by TDL directors
• Access to all TDL institutional and faculty services

In addition, the TDL may choose to solicit contributions of specific collections outside the TDL membership which are considered of high value and suitability. These collection owners would be considered contributor members, with access to the TDL repository but not to other TDL services.
