Texas Digital Library’s GIS Interest Group TDL GISIG is hosting a “PechaKucha Event” a week before GIS Day to share experiences, plans, and ideas about how libraries and archives are supporting and promoting GIS activities throughout the state.

What is PechaKucha: PechaKucha events traditionally include presentations of 20 images, with 20 seconds commentary each. In other words…presentations are meant to be LIGHTNING FAST and not very in-depth. Think “talk less, show more.”  See some examples here:
