Register for this fun and virtual event below to learn more about how libraries and academic researchers are using GIS. Is your institution part of the trend? We want to hear about it! Texas Digital Library’s GIS Interest Group TDL GISIG is hosting a “PechaKucha Event” a week before GIS Day to share experiences, plans, and ideas about how libraries and archives are supporting and promoting GIS activities throughout the state.

What is PechaKucha: PechaKucha events traditionally include presentations of 20 images, with 20 seconds commentary each. In other words…presentations are meant to be LIGHTNING FAST and not very in-depth. Think “talk less, show more.”  See some examples here:
