Representatives of the Texas Digital Library attended the 13th International Symposium on Electronic Theses and Dissertations (ETD 2010). The conference took place in Austin, Texas, on June 16-18.

The University of California system has taken the bold step of threatening to boycott the Nature Publishing Group, after the publisher hiked journal subscription prices by 400%.
The Journal of Virtual Worlds Research, a journal hosted by the TDL Electronic Press, has released its latest issue entitled “The Metaverse Assembled.”
