New DuraSpace blog tackles preservation issues

DuraSpaceFor those interested in issues of preservation, the DuraSpace Preservation and Archive Solution Community is offering a new resource, in the form of a blog,  that is intended to foster the “open exchange of ideas and initiatives around preservation & archiving solutions.”

The effort is part of the DuraSpace “Solution Community Program,” which brings users of digital repositories together to share resources and solve common problems of digital information management and preservation.

DuraSpace is the not-for-profit organization that provides oversight and support to the open-source digital repository platforms DSpace (employed by the Texas Digital Library) and Fedora Commons.
