The Texas Digital Library (TDL) is pleased to announce the release of the Texas Digital Library Descriptive Metadata Guidelines for Electronic Theses and Dissertations, v.2.
Development efforts for Vireo 1.8 are continuing this summer, with completion of the new code scheduled for fall 2012 and implementation thereafter.

The Texas ETD Association will hold its 2012 annual conference on February 23-24 at the University of North Texas in Denton.
TDL presented at the U.S. ETD Association (USETDA) Conference on the TDL’s federated collection of electronic theses and dissertations.

Using TDL services, member institution UT Southwestern Medical Center Library is upgrading its electronic thesis and dissertation (ETD) program to streamline submission and management and make theses and dissertations more visible to the worldwide scholarly community.
